Laulau Hawaii is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization with a solution based mission to restore health, economy, and land management for the people of Hawaii through traditional practices and education. Laulau Solutions is a grass-roots nonprofit organization that had started in the lockdown period of Covid-19 as a source for our community members to receive FREE nutritious foods through one of our traditional foods, laualau. Through many community donations, volunteers, and partnerships with farmers around the island, we are able to service thousands of people in-need of healthy and nutritious options when it comes to food.

Laulau Solutions is also dedicated to continuing the education of our youth through our aina-based curriculum that focuses not only on traditional farming practices and techniques, but also contemporary styles of cultivation and preparation of produce, from farm-to-table. They are dedicated to using traditional foods (kalo, lau, ulu, uala, mai'a, etc.) in each of their laulau; however this type of production requires them to maintain aina through traditional practices. Currently, they are in the process of restoring 13 acres of what could potentially be both mala and lo'i kalo, allowing them to grow, produce, and process everything all in one location.
