Moore Aloha Charitable Foundation was founded by Carissa Moore, surfing’s first Olympic Gold medalist and 5X World Surfing Champion in 2018 with the simple vision: to share Moore Love.
Our mission has blossomed into supporting girls and women as they navigate the waves of mental health and wellness by educating, empowering and inspiring through sport, mentorship, community and culture.
· Moore Aloha works to support girls and women of Hawai`i and beyond, in their navigation of the struggles and fears they face and to find strength in community. Our programs lay the ground work for females to connect with one another while discovering their deepest passions and authentic purposes. Charitable Foundation, a 501C3 non-profit, has one core mission: Three core values permeate every program that we design: Live Authentically. Be Fearless. Lead with Love. Founder Carissa Moore, Five-Time World Champion of Surfing and Tokyo Olympic Gold Winner, started Moore Aloha in 2018 at a point in her career when her mental health was suffering and impacting her quality of life.
· Programs range from one and two day events to week long cultural educational experiences. The females age range is 10 to 30 years old with the anticipated goal of 2025 to include women beyond 30 and also those experiencing motherhood.
